You have joined Team #HHUGS! Thank you for signing up for our Winter Walk, Walking in Their Shoes towards warm hearts and homes this Winter!

We’ve back; bigger and better than ever before, and once again in person!

As you wrap up warm, defy the wintry chills and get ready to don your best walking shoes, remember your footsteps can be that light of mercy, radiating hope for a family to survive a merciless season.

Now if that’s not enough to motivate you to get moving, before you get started, let’s set some ground rules to ensure a fun and friendly competition!

• Be polite! No profanities, aggressive of abusive behaviour will be tolerated.


• Only share content that is appropriate, related to HHUGS and in line with our ethics.


• Have no mercy for the people behind you! Yes, that’s right, we said it! We want to ensure you make it to the first place on our leaderboard and are the first to finish your trek!

Throughout the challenge, you will be able to keep an eye on all those creeping up behind you on our leaderboard and those who are racing ahead. Others might  on your heels – trying to overtake, but we know you won’t let that slide; after all you are here to win.

All the best for your challenge! Get ready to embrace the cold, so the HHUGS families won’t have to!

And if you need some motivation, as you prepare for your trek, remember the words of Imam Ahmad when he was asked, “When will the servant [of Allah] find rest?” He replied: “With the first step he takes into Paradise.”

May Allah accept your efforts, bless your steps and may He clothe you from the green silks of Paradise for helping to clothe the believers in this harsh season, ameen.
