Assalamu alaykum

My name is Idris. I’m just 6 years old and I have little legs..

Why is that important? It’s because having little legs is going to make the challenge I’ve set myself this Ramadhan so much harder.

Last Ramadhan I ran 1000 lengths of my garden to raise money but this year I’m going to do something different..
I’m going to run up and down the stairs at home.

My target is not 1000 steps, it's not even 5000 steps but instead 10,000 steps In shaa Allah!

This works out to 12 times up and down every single day of Ramadhan!

This would be hard enough on a child older than me and even adults, but like I said, I’m only 6 and I’ve got these little legs we keep talking about so this will be the hardest thing I've ever done!

Why am I putting myself through this? That’s the easy part. I’m doing this for Hhugs.  I’m doing this to help families like my family and your families. I’m doing it to help children even younger than me who struggle each and every day. Children who live among us but who live worlds apart.

My parents tell me that Allah will aid those who aid others and I know I always need His help.

Help me help them please.

All I have is your support and my dads promise of a leg massage every night to keep me going!
