This August I will be taking part in the Box Hill Sisters Trek to raise crucial funds for HHUGS' single mothers and children, here in the uk.
I am one of a team of competitors striving to trek whilst raising lots of money, for HHUGS.
"As a single mother myself, i know how hard it is to pick yourself off the floor."
A helping hand as small as a grain of rice goes a long way, when your world is turned upside down.
By sponsoring my challenge, your donations could provide:
· £50 you can - Heal a Heart and relieve a family's trauma with a session of professional therapy.
· For £165 – Gift a Uniform – prepare them for the academic year
· For £250 you can Feed the Hungry and restore their dignity with a month of food vouchers.
· For £500 you can Shelter the Homeless by covering rent and essential utilities
· For £750 you can Nurture her vulnerable child – provide a source of hope and positivity for a child in despair
· For £1000 you can Empower a Mother in Need by helping her gain independence through education, driving lessons and vocational training
· For £2000 you can Alleviate the Burdened by relieving a single mother of debts she cannot pay.
Together, we can make a world of difference for some of the most vulnerable families in our midst.
***** On a personal note*****
"Ive never done anything like this before. Not gonna lie...im a bit nervous. Especially because i have a knee injury.
So if any of you get a SOS call from me..its probably because i fell down Box Hill..lol.
FYI, technical its a very steep hill, but to me it might aswell be a mountain. Mountain..hill..same thing..lol.
So when you donate, please think about my poor knees...lol"
Sending lots of love and appreciation to all those who donate and believe i can get to the top. x
