Who We Help

At HHUGS, we extend our services to many different families around the UK. These include wives, mothers, parents, siblings and/or children of those individuals who have been harmfully affected by counter-terrorism and national security legislation. This could mean the family of a father or son and, less frequently, a daughter or a mother who are, or once were, detained, extradited or placed under harsh restrictive regimes. We know that families come in different shapes and sizes and therefore aim to reach out to all victims regardless of their private circumstances. HHUGS is not involved with the details of any individuals’ case and gives assistance solely on a humanitarian basis.

Families come in many shapes and sizes, and every individual affected by these challenging measures deserves dignity and care. HHUGS offers support to:

  • Parents
  • Children
  • Wives
  • Former Detainees and their families
  • Others in need

Our commitment is to assist without judgment, focusing solely on relief and empowerment regardless of personal circumstances. We work to build a safer, kinder future for every family we serve.
