Detainee 002 was released in February 2006 under control orders. He is only allowed out during the hours of 10:00 and 16:00.
He suffers from severe depression, extreme mood swings and hears voices. He lives by himself and has no family around him. He is lonely and isolated. He has been put on medication to keep his mental state stable. He is unable to work and does not have a regular income.
His time in prison has had a huge psychological effect on him to the point where he will not open the door to anybody if he is having a depression episode even though it is clearly visible that he is in the house because the lights are on.
He has no telephone and virtually no contact with the outside world. The control order restrictions mean he cannot have any visitors nor can he visit anyone.
As he does not have any family around, Hhugs has organised a food rota for him so that he eats regularly. Under his current psychological state he can get forgetful about simple tasks such as eating on time which in turn affects his physiological state.
